I just bought an outdoor composting bin and am pretty excited to start composting. However, I need to locate it in a sunny area in my yard and that area is far from my patio door. I’d like to have something in the kitchen so that I can collect stuff and only have to trek outside once a week. Does anyone know of a good counter top or under the sink composter?

My mom just uses an old coffee can under the kitchen sink & empties it daily. Then, you would be recycling & composting!
4Many thanks!

Hope that link works
6My dad and step mom just put everything in a large Ziploc bag and take it out to the bin daily.

I got one from Clean Air Gardening and keep it under my sink.
9I have a kitchen pail that is similar to the one that CiaoBella posted. I love it and it doesn't stink or anything. I empty it into the larger composter every day or every couple of days. It usually sits on top of my counter as it is not super huge but is handy when I'm cooking to toss all the scraps in; it makes kitchen cleanup easy.
Good luck!
